Itinerary overview :

The 3 days DESERT TOUR FROM OUARZAZATE tour departs from Ourzazate and heads towards the desert of Erg Chebbi Dunes near Merzouga to spend the night there, after we visit Dades Valley and Toudra Gorges along with many spots, villages, and oases on the way. After spending some time in the desert, the tour ends by returning to Ouarzazate and exploring the Kasbahs and the villages on the way.

DAY 1: OUARZAZATE – SKOURA OASIS – ROSES VALLEY – DADES GORGES

We start our DESERT TOUR FROM OUARZAZATE after breakfast. After visiting the oasis of Skoura, the astonishing kasbah of Amridel and the rose valley of Kalaat Mgouna, we will head for the Dades valley on the road of the thousand kasbahs. We will then stop in the tranquility of the valley and the gorges of Dades. This is where the nomadic families live. Overnight in a traditional riad.

DAY 2: DADES GORGES – TODRA GORGES – ERFOUD – MERZOUGA DESERT CAMP

We will take a walk among the canyons of the Dades valley after waking up and having breakfast. We will then leave the village and head for the Toudra Gorges. Here we will discover more of Morocco’s fascinating natural landscapes. We will head towards Merzouga after spending some time in the gorges. In Merzouga, we will leave our car behind and take camels with a local guide to the high dunes of Erg Chebbi. To enjoy the amazing sunset, we will climb a high dune. Then we will go to the desert camp. We will spend the night stargazing and listening to the trance music of the nomad band.

DAY 3: MERZOUGA – RISSANI – ALNIF – N’KOB – DRAA VALLEY – OUARZAZATE

We’ll have a wonderful view of the sunrise in the early morning. We’ll leave the desert camp and return to the hotel in the village of Merzouga. We will drive in our 4×4 car towards the palm groves of Tafilalet. We will visit Rissani, the holy land of the Moroccan royal family. It is also an ancient market that was the center of many caravans coming from the sub-Saharan region. After that, we will go to Alnif where we will have a traditional lunch. Then we will have a visit to many villages and kasbahs such as Tazarine, N’kob and Tansikht. Finally, we will drive towards Ouarzazate through the Draa valley and some villages such as Agdez. In Ouarzazate we will end our DESERT TOUR FROM OUARZAZATE.
