Itinerary overview :
The tour takes us to explore Fez. Then, we will leave on our Fes to Marrakech desert tour toward the north to visit Chefchaouan. After that, we will go to Rabat and Casablanca. Finally, we will head south to Marrakech along with Ourika Valley.
DAY 1: FEZ EXPLORING
This day of the 6-day tour from Fes to Marrakech via Chefchaouen will be dedicated to exploring the spiritual capital of Morocco Fez. After breakfast, we will start our guided tour in the Medina of Fez, a UNESCO World Heritage site. We will begin by visiting the landmarks of Fez Elbali, such as the Al Qaraouine University, the mausoleum of Moulay Idriss, the Nejjarine Fountain, and so on. Then, we will have a traditional lunch in the Medina before we explore more of Fez. We will go back to the Riad.
DAY 2: FES – CHEFCHAOUE
We will go travel to Chefchaouen after breakfast to have a guided tour there. We will drive by the amazing landscapes of the Riff Mountains to reach the Blue city. There, we will visit the Medina and the markets along with visiting some cool streets to take memorable photos between the blue walls. After lunch at a traditional restaurant, we will visit the Market in case you want to buy some of the handicrafts that the city is famous for before we go to a hotel.
DAY 3: CHEFCHAOUEN – RABAT – CASABLANCA
after we enjoy breakfast, we will start our 6-day tour from Fes to Marrakech via Chefchaouen to Rabat, the capital of Morocco, driving through Ouazzane. We will explore the capital’s landmarks, such as Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohamed V, and the Kasbah of Oudaya. Then, we will leave Rabat and head to Casablanca; there, we will visit the notorious Hassan II Mosque, which is one of the most fascinating achievements of Moroccan architecture. After that, we will head to a hotel for an overnight stay there.
DAY 4: CASABLANCA – MARRAKECH
We will head on our 6-day tour from Fes to Marrakech early in the morning via Chefchaouen to the Red City. There, we will have a guided tour that will take us to explore the city’s prominent landmarks, places with a huge historical and cultural value. The list includes Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs, the Koranic School of Ben Youssef, and the Medina and the Souks. After lunch in a traditional restaurant at the famous Jamaa Lafna Square, we can visit the Koutoubia Mosque and the fascinating gardens of Majorelle, which have a fantastic collection of plants worldwide. We will stay at the traditional Riad, where we will book.
DAY 5: TRIP TO ATLAS MOUNTAINS AND OURIKA VALLEY
This day of the Fes to Marrakech desert tour is reserved for an amazing excursion to one of the most beautiful valleys near Marrakech. Early in the morning, we will travel toward the foot of Atlas Mountain, where Ourika Valley is situated. This quiet place is the perfect spot to visit to relax in the noisy cities. There, we will enjoy walking beside the stream as we look at the amazing mountain landscapes. Ourika is also famous for minerals like crystals and other stuff. After a traditional Tagine for lunch, we will visit the waterfalls of Sti Fatma before we return to Marrakech.
DAY 6: MARRAKECH TRANSFER TO THE AIRPORT
We will have a free program on the last day of the Fes to Marrakech desert tour. You can go out to explore the Red City by yourself. We can take you to the airport after that if you’re considering leaving the country at the end of a 6-day tour from Fes to Marrakech early in the morning via Chefchaouen.
