Itinerary overview :

After leaving Marrakech, the travelers will visit Ait Ben Haddou, Ouarzazate, and the Kasbahs between these two spots and the desert of Merzouga. Then, they will spend the night in the desert before we head to Fes, where we will end our 3 days tour from Marrakech to Fes.

Day 1: Marrakech – Tizi N Tichka – Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley

Your private tour begins with views of the Atlas Mountains as we wind through the Tizi-n-Tichka pass to the Unesco World Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou, famous on the big screen in films such as The Gladiator and HBO’s Game of Thrones. We’ll then head to Ouarzazate to visit the Atlas film studios and a Kasbah in the city. From Marrakech, we’ll travel to the Valley of Roses, famous for its annual Rose Festival. We spend the night in the Dades Gorge, in a local hotel, where you’ll also have the opportunity to enjoy a complimentary dinner.

Day 2: Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga Sahara ( Camel trekking & Night in a Desert Camp)

After breakfast in Dades, we’ll leave it and continue our 3-day tour from Marrakech to Fes. We’ll visit the Toudra Gorges, which have the largest canyons in Morocco, along with a beautiful river with small fish swimming. Then we will pass by Tinghir to Erfoud. Here we will enjoy a traditional lunch. Then, we will make a stop in Merzouga. We will have a rest and leave our unnecessary luggage at the hotel. Then, we will ride our camels to the dunes of Erg Chebbi, where we will set up our camp. We will have dinner at the camp. Under the stars, we will listen to the trance-inducing drum beats of the nomadic musicians.

Day 3: Camel Ride back to Merzouga – Erg Chebbi Desert (Merzouga) – Ziz Valley – Midelt – Ifrane – Fes

Today, it will be time for our departure from the desert. Our route will be through the Tafilal region, the Ziz valley and the Atlas mountains. We will visit the monkeys of the cedar forest near Azrou and stop again in Ifran after a short lunch break in the apple town of Midelt. Later in the afternoon, we will be in Fès, where our 3-days tour from Marrakech to Fès will end.
