Itinerary overview :

After leaving Agadir the travelers on this 3 days desert tour from Agadir to erg Chegaga Dunes will visit Taroudant, Ait Ben Haddou, Ouarzazate, and the Kasbahs in between these three spots and the desert of Erg Chigaga. Then, they will spend the night in the desert before we head back to Agadir.

Day 1: Agadir – Taroudant – Aït Benhaddou – Ouarzazate

Today our 3 days desert tour from Agadir to erg chegaga dunes will start after having breakfast, we will depart to Ouarzazate, a city south of Morocco via Taroudant city. Taroudant is one of the oldest cities of Morocco which has kept the character of its past intact. Here, you will admire the souks, & their fine craftsmanship. 35Kms before reaching Ouarzazate city, we will visit the Kasbah of Aït Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987, and will have our lunch there. In the afternoon, we will leave towards Ouarzazate to visit the city. We will have our dinner and lodging at a hotel in Ouarzazate.

Day 2: Ouarzazate – Agdz – Zagora – Erg Chegaga dunes.

After eating breakfast in the hotel early in the morning, will start our 3 days desert tour from Agadir to Erg Chegaga dunes towards Erg Chegaga Dunes in a 4×4 car, visiting the village Agdez and Draa valley, which is famous for its many palm trees. On the road, we are going to stop several times for pictures and exploration before we continue to Zagora. At Zagora, we will eat lunch in a restaurant beside the Amzerou village, which is a precursor place to the Mhamid and the mountain Jbel Bani. We will drive off-road after that to Mlaalg Oasis and head to the desert camp of Erg Chegaga Dunes. After we arrive and enjoy some rest with mint tea, we will ride the camels towards the high dunes to get a glimpse of the sunset, which is one of the most amazing views of the desert. The night will be spent enjoying the night sky in a nomadic tent or a private one, depending on your choice.

Day 3: Chegaga – Taznakht – Agadir.

After enjoying breakfast and a shower at the camp, we will go on a tour to discover the area. We will start by visiting Iriki Lake to take some memorable pictures. Next, we will continue to Fum Zguit village to explore it for a little while. After that, we will head to Taznakhet, which is a Beber town that is famous for traditional carpets made by women; there we will enjoy our lunch. We will take the road to Taliouine, famous for its Safran, and then join Taroudant, also known as small Marrakech with its red ramparts and souks. Then we will drive back to Agadir. End our 3 days désert tour from Agadir to Chegaga dunes.
